The fresh and evergreen fragrance of Kashmiri Lavender. It has mild and light floral notes. The fragrance is made in Kannauj, India. It is handcrafted using the ancient deg-bhapka technique, that has been unchanged for 1000+ years. It comes in a charming lavender coloured box. The colour is inspired from the flower of the same name known for its calming and elegant fragrance.
Boond is a line of pure, organic, indegenious fragrances. It is founded by siblings , Krati and Varun who grew up in Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh, where perfumes and perfumeries have been omnipresent since time immemorial. Growing up, they had seen Kannauj’s organic perfume industry struggle to compete with synthetically created perfumes freely available in the market. When they returned to their hometown during the lockdowns, it was heartbreaking for them to realise that the pandemic could be the final blow to the town's ancient craft of perfume making. Their hope is to support the artisans and play our little part in reviving an ancient Indian craft.
