The pure, organic fragrance of the Kannauj Rose, its expertly distilled and handcrafted. It is created using the ancient deg-bhapka technique in Kannauj, India using a technique that is unchanged for 1000+ years.
Boond is a line of pure, organic, indegenious fragrances. It is founded by siblings , Krati and Varun who grew up in Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh, where perfumes and perfumeries have been omnipresent since time immemorial. Growing up, they had seen Kannauj’s organic perfume industry struggle to compete with synthetically created perfumes freely available in the market. When they returned to their hometown during the lockdowns, it was heartbreaking for them to realise that the pandemic could be the final blow to the town's ancient craft of perfume making. Their hope is to support the artisans and play our little part in reviving an ancient Indian craft.
