Taking you back to the playfulness of the ocean the Raahlu tea cup is designed using the technique of faceting and shaping the piece at a really high speed on the potter’s wheel, leaving behind a textured form for your fingers to hug.
All our pieces are completely handmade and can have some variations in size and form because of the nature of the process. Glazes used are made by us and can have different variations with each firing.
A product designer by education, Raji found her calling in clay. Intrigued by the world of craft, alongside her passion for design, lead to the creation of Clayventures. The materials are free and approaches are innumerable, yet the process demands so much attention and technicalities, it’s a new puzzle every time and that's what she loves about it. Her approach at Clayventures is focused towards combining design and craft to achieve beautiful objects for everyday use.
